Our band had a memorable performance at the MBPJ Lantern Festival on September 30th, playing our piece Perro Caliente and leading the community in a lantern walk. We're grateful for the invitation from MBPJ and for the guidance of our teachers Puan Faridah, Cik Hanis and Cik Pang. A huge thank you to our beloved tutor, Mr Eric for his guidance. It was an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish for a long time. 🏮🎶

✨On the 9th of September, we got the 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 with the score of 87.13 🌟 when taking part in the Malaysia International Wind Festival (miwFEST). What's more, we're thrilled to bits as we're crowned the 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣🏆 for the category Concert Band Scholastic A - Showcase.✨
We would like express our gratitude towards the Festival Director, Mr Wilson for giving us this once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in this competition and also the fellow judges for their professional and fair judging.🌟🎶
🎵On top of everything, we would like to say thank you to our beloved band tutor, Sir Eric for guiding us tirelessly throughout this whole journey.🫶🏻♥️
This victory belongs to all of us as we couldn't have done it without each and everyone including all of the parents who entrusted and supported us. We appreciate your support and trust. 🙏🏻🌼

As we watched the 06's take off their rank tags and name tags, it
marked an end to their adventurous yet memorable journey in the band.
As of now, our Form 5's are officially dismissed.It is time for them
to rearrange their priorities, to fully focus and commit to their
studies so that they are able to prepare for their upcoming exams. Our
biggest appreciation and gratitude goes to all the Form 5's who
demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and musical talent.
Your efforts and contributions to the band have left an indelible mark
that will be cherished for years to come. You have set the bar high,
and we are determined to follow in your footsteps, striving for
excellence in everything we do.

Under the baton of Mr. Frank Troyka, we have gained knowledge and insights that will undoubtedly elevate our band to new heights and empower each of us to become even better members. 🔥

On 18 March 2023, the EGM 2023 was held at bandroom for the first time since the pandemic. All members were required to attend. Surat amaran were given out to misbehaved members. Our president also gave out the latest Perlembagaan and Peraturan to all members.

As the saying goes, "Everything that has a beginning comes to an end", and this time it's the end of our beloved form 5s seniors who dedicated their high school years to band. We hosted a farewell event at bandroom themed "Memories" as we reminisce their memories from the very start of their band life.
During that day, there were entertaining programs such as performances prepared by each form and also a video made by our organizing committee that bring us back from the sad atmosphere.
As form 5s are stepping into a new stage of their lives, we would like to wish you all the best and hope to see you soon.

Hi guys!! CHS Band PJ participated in the Red Sonata Fiesta 2022 in the Concert Band/Strings Orchestra Category in October 2022. This was an online competition organised by Petronas Technology University with the theme of Rebound of Melomaniac.
The band recorded their first recording "Welcome" on the 23rd of September 2022 and their second recording "Wind of Provence" on the 29th of September 2022.
After all the hard work and countless hours spent practicing, the band managed to get First place for "Wind of Provence" and third place for "Welcome". A truly remarkable achievement for the band.

Hello there! We were contented to be able to host an Interaction with Yok Bin Symphonic Band on the 10th of December. After 2 years of restrictions, we were so pleased to be able to meet new friends who share the same passion for music as us. 🎶 Although we didn't manage to perform any pieces, we still get along with each other really well. At the end of the day, big smiles were on everyone's faces. 😁
We would like to show our deepest gratitude to Yok Bin Symphonic Band. Hope to see you in the future❤️.

Hi everyone! It's once again that time of the year, the time when our dearest Form 5 officially signs off. On 22nd October 2022, CHS Band held our first physical AGM after years of lockdown in conjunction with our Color Guards and Sinfonietta.
This year had been hectic as the school's co-curricular activities gradually resumed. New struggles and problems emerged from every corner, but our Form 5's still managed to power through and make our physical practices a success. Thank you Form 5's for all the time and hard work you have invested in band. We wish you all the best and good luck in your upcoming exams. 🍀🍀
