BAND TOUR 2026 IS A WRAP!!! 💥💥

From the 3rd to 6th June 2026, our band embarked on an unforgettable journey through Batu Pahat, Kulai, Muar, and Melaka!✨

From exploring historical landmarks to sharing performances, laughter, and unforgettable moments, this tour was filled with growth, friendship, and memories we’ll always cherish. 🎶❤️

A huge thank you to Sir Eric Lee, our dedicated teachers, tour guides, supportive parents, and hardworking OCs for making Band Tour 2026 possible. Your support and dedication made this journey truly meaningful. 🤩❤️

Lastly, we would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the schools that we had an exchange with — Chinese High School, Batu Pahat, Foon Yew High School, Kulai, and Chung Hwa High School, Muar. The exchange sessions were truly splendid, and we had a blast! Thank you again, everyone. 🥹💙

Annual General Meeting 2026

On the 13th of June, we had our Annual General Meeting with Sinfonietta and Colour Guards. This marks another milestone as we bid farewell to our dearest Form 5 members and officially welcome our committee for the term 2026/2027.🎺🥁🎼

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Form 5s, thank you for five unforgettable years of passion and dedication. You've inspired us with your commitment and shown us what it truly means to be part of this band. Your guidance and patience have shaped us into who we are today. ❤️

As you pass the baton to a new generation of leaders, we promise to carry forward the legacy you've built with pride. We wish you the very best in your SPM and all the adventures that await. 🍀📚

MiwFest 2026

 

We’re beyond thrilled to share that we have emerged as the Overall Champion at the Malaysia International Wind Festival (MiwFEST) 2026! ✨🎵

We proudly clinched GOLD in the Concert Band Scholastic A Premier Division, along with the 🏅 Best Conductor Award, earning our place as the overall CHAMPION 🏆🏆

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without months of dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of rehearsals. From intense practices to overcoming pressure, every bit of effort brought us here. Well done to every single member! 💪🎶

A heartfelt thank you to our beloved Sir Eric as well ❤️—your guidance, patience, and unwavering support mean the world to us.

Special thanks to Mr. Lim, teacher advisors, school administrators, parents, alumni, and all supporters who have stood by us throughout this journey 🤍

Most importantly, this victory belongs to every member of the band. Together, we proved that with passion, teamwork, and determination, great things are possible. 💙🎺🎷

 

Band Camp 2026

From 31st May to 2nd June, we had our annual Band Camp — three days, countless memories, and one story brought to life through music ✨🎶

Through sectionals, concert practices, and masterclasses, we refined our skills 💪🏻, learned from one another, and grew not only as musicians, but also as a band 🫶🏼. From the long hours of practice to the laughter shared during game sessions, every experience became a page in a story written by all of us 🎵🤍

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Lim for staying with us and sharing his musical knowledge 🐟. A heartfelt thank you as well to Ms. Li Yien for her exciting and educational masterclass 🥭🍌, where she taught us how to truly feel the beat 💃🏻. We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Sir Eric, for supporting and guiding us with patience throughout these three days 💕. Thank you to all the tutors who taught and inspired us throughout the camp too! 😍

And so, as the final page of this chapter gently closes, the story continues beyond these three days. Carried by every note we played, every lesson we learned, and every memory we shared, we look ahead to the pages yet unwritten — for this will always be A Journey Written in Music✈️✍🏻🎼✨

Sports Day 2026

 

PETALING JAYA: On 11th of April 2026, Catholic High School Petaling Jaya held the much anticipated Sports Day! Despite the gruelling practice under high temperatures and the blazing Sun, CHS Band members pushed through and delivered a spectacular performance!✨

As the drum major led the parade into the field, CHS Band members performed the classic Malaysian pop song Hujan Di Tengahari by P. Ramlee and the famous The Final Countdown featured in many films. Besides that, CHS Band also played the iconic early 2010s pop hit Shut Up and Dance. Kudos to all performers for the amazing effort and dedication 👏👏👏

Farewell 2026

31 January 2026 — a day filled with memories and heartfelt farewells for our beloved Year 08' seniors.

You each joined with your own story, but together you became a legacy woven into every note we play.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the dedication, the laughter, and the unforgettable journey we shared together.

The stage will feel different without you — but your echoes will remain. 🤍
